An extremely well presented and spacious cottage surrounded by lush green rolling hills and fields in the wonderful Scottish countryside.
This large detached cottage is ideal for couples or for a group of friends who will appreciate the space within the cottage and its close proximity to so many places of interest.
With all the accommodation at ground floor level there is a fabulous sun room with widespread views over the surrounding countryside and this makes the perfect place for quiet relaxation.
The fitted kitchen/dining room is extremely well equipped and with direct access to the sun room which boasts stunning panoramic views.
The sitting room is smart and tastefully presented and the abundance of large windows means guests can appreciate the lovely location from the comfort of their armchairs.
There are two generously proportioned bedrooms, both with king-size beds and one benefiting from an en-suite.
The surrounding fields are home to grazing sheep and cattle and just a couple of miles away, the pretty large village of Aberlour provides excellent facilities with a number of good pubs serving tasty local produce and of course, it boasts its very own distillery and is also home to the world famous Walkers Shortbread! Why not visit the old railway station, not only home to the Speyside Way Visitor Centre but also with its own tea shop.
The spectacular Moray Firth Coast is a short drive away with many quaint fishing villages, all well worth a visit.
Whether it's whisky, wildlife or walking, it's all here in abundance and this superior cottage will ensure a perfect holiday.

This all ground floor cottage has a king-size double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a king-size double bedroom and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room and a sun room. Outside there is ample off road parking. Bogairn is a lovely holiday cottage for discovering the beautiful Scottish countryside and coast.

We never actually made it here due to a road accident. The owners were singularly unhelpful and came close to calling me a liar when I tried to discuss a revised date or other options.
I'm sure that if things go well it's an excellent location but as a minimum make sure you are well insured in case.
Ensure you have adequate insurance coverage.

We didn't actually make it because we hit a deer in Glencoe a couple of weeks before we were due to arrive and wrote our car off so I can't comment on the actual cottage. This was our second attempt (we had to cancel the first because Covid restrictions were still in place in Scotland in April last ...
