Luxuriously appointed throughout, this immaculate cottage near Windermere provides excellent accommodation, and with three bedrooms set over three floors, it's ideal for families looking for a quiet retreat from which to discover the beauty of the Lake District.
This charming cottage benefits from a spacious open plan living area, fitted with a superb kitchen and opening out to a private patio and shared lawns, where the views of the surrounding countryside are a delight.
Settle here with friends for a summer's alfresco meal and discuss your holiday plans, and with the area being home to an abundance of wildlife, you will be sure to spot some of the native deer and red squirrel here or whilst on one of the many walks from the doorstep of this Lakes cottage.
Admire the giant redwood tree, which sits proudly in the shared grounds, this lovely cottage has the advantage of all the peace, quiet and beauty of being nestled away in glorious countryside, whilst the bustling village of Bowness is just ten minutes' drive away.
Cartmel Fell is home to The Masons Arms at Strawberry Bank, one of the area's iconic pubs, from Winster Fields you can take the nearby bridleway that brings you out just a stone's throw from the pub.
Walk up Gummers How for spectacular views of Lake Windermere, or descend into the serene Lyth Valley to admire the many Damson trees.
Take a trip to Fell Foot Park and Gardens where you can enjoy a lakeside picnic and children can make use of the playground.

Travel cot and highchair (please bring own cot mattress/ linen). Parking for 4 cars, private patio, shared lawned gardens. Car charge points near by at Booths supermarket in Windermere. Sorry, no pets and no smoking.

Stayed over the Christmas period.
Couldn't be more disappointed with this property. I will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone which is a shame as the views and outside the property are stunning.
On entering the property it didn't look as though it had been cleaned properly in weeks!...
