This Peak District cottage is welcoming and homely and provides a cosy, romantic escape for those wishing to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Derbyshire countryside.
Boasting beautiful views, this Turnditch cottage is full of character, including a galleried en-suite king-size double bedroom, which is accessed directly from the stairs, and a warming, woodburner-style electric fire to settle beside on cosy evenings.
Outside this Derbyshire cottage near Turnditch, there is a very pretty garden which is private and enclosed, with a small patio and lawn complete with gazebo, a perfect place to sit and enjoy a pre-dinner drink and chat about what to explore tomorrow! The village of Turnditch offers some good food pubs, and is surrounded by a network of walks that lead into the Amber Valley and Derbyshire Dales.
Close by are the interesting towns of Belper, Ashbourne, Matlock and Matlock Bath, as well as exciting Alton Towers, making this area ideal for any type of holiday, with walking, climbing, pretty villages and historic houses all waiting to be discovered in this beautiful part of the Peak District.

Top Stable Cottage is a romantic, cosy cottage attached to the welcoming owner's home, overlooking lovely Derbyshire countryside near the village of Turnditch. With one galleried king-size double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, this cottage can comfortably sleep two people. There's also a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner-style electric fire. Outside, there is an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture to the front of the property along with off road parking for one car. Top Stable Cottage occupies a charming location with attractive country views, and offers a wonderful getaway for couples.
There is a designated dog walk (fenced off which runs through 2 fields and accessed by this property only).
Here you can walk through an enclosure which is roughly about quarter of a mile. (as shown in our photo). seating area and copse included. often, the owner can provide early check-ins or later check-outs - this will be communicated by the property owner closer to your arrival if it can be made possible

Beautiful little cottage, perfect for two.lovely helpful owners. Lots of pretty little villages to visit near by. Will be booking again.

The accommodation was even better than we had envisaged. We only met the owner on the morning we left as they had been away themselves, but very friendly. Considering it's only a one bed, we were surprised with how spacious the cottage was. On site parking, close to Belper and Ashbourne, Would book again without hesitation.
