This marvellous end of terrace ground floor flat occupies a spectacular position set next to the River Tay and the famous Dunkeld Cathedral.
Beautifully furnished throughout, this quiet Dunkeld holiday cottage combines the ideal location with a varied range of local activities on offer locally. On entering the cottage you arrive in a cosy living room with a dining area. There is a well equipped kitchen from where you can prepare some lovely home cooked meals. There is a well-presented double bedroom and a twin room. This Dunkeld holiday home offers the ideal base for exploring this beautiful region. To the outside is a small lawned garden with a patio seating area, creating a lovely environment for some alfresco dining or to simply relax with something chilled. A short walk will take you to the River Tay and the small town of Dunkeld. There are plenty of places to enjoy the views, either from the cathedral gardens or from the Taybank bar where you might be lucky enough to hear some impromptu music performed. The town itself dates from the 9th century and boasts a wealth of history from the Dark and Middle Ages to more recent history with Thomas Telfords bridge over the Tay. The property is a short drive away from The Hermitage, a National Trust site of beautiful forest which contains Ossians Hall of Mirrors, a folly built as a tribute to the 3rd century blind poet Ossian on a rocky outcrop near the Black Linn waterfalls. With the Loch Of The Lowes nature Reserve nearby and also the Victorian village of Birnam with its famous Birnam Oak and a Beatrix Potter exhibition marking her regular visits to the village, this area is one of the most spectacular and varied in Scotland and well worth a visit. A wonderful Scottish home ideally located for exploring the beautiful heart of Scotland. EPC Rating: Band C. Scottish Short Term Licence No: PK11705F.

Just what we needed, close to amenities, river view, thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed and complimentary basket. Would stay there again, home from home.
