Lovely place to stay perfect base to get to places. Hosts helpful & welcoming would recommend highly. Well equipped cottage so have everything you need if you wanted to stay put, easy access from property to walks canals locks. Lots of helpful information supplied to suggest places to go places to eat, very happy to stay here again

Lovely little cottage, excellent walks from the door. Well equipped kitchen, super comfortable sofa and good shower. Only negative was the bed, but this will not stop us from returning .

Nice comfy cottage, not usually where we would choose to go for a week but it was local to Manchester and family. Really enjoyed it. Lovely walks around the reservoir and haigh woodland park. Nice scenery and plenty of nice pubs. Great base for visiting Manchester, Liverpool, formby and Chester.
