In a farmhouse built in 1707, which was renovated in 2020 according to ecological building guidelines, we rent out a quiet and cozy holiday apartment.
The studio offers ideal space for two people.
It is equipped with a modern kitchen, bathroom with shower/toilet, and a pull-out sofa.
A radio, internet TV, and Wi-Fi are available.
A staircase leads up under the roof to the gallery with a cozy double bed. (Due to the ceiling height, the bed is on the floor).
In the newly designed garden, you can relax at your leisure.
As a little break from everyday life, the in-house sauna with color therapy can be operated for a small surcharge.
If desired, we will also heat the hot pot in the garden for relaxation.
It is equipped with massage jets and air bubbles. (separate tariff / not possible in case of water shortage).
We are nestled in a forest and agricultural zone.
Schwellbrunn was chosen by the Swiss population as the most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2017.
In summer, beautiful hiking trails can be explored directly from the doorstep.
Bike paths and e-bike routes are plentiful in the surrounding area.
The Appenzell region and the Lake Constance region offer various culinary, sporting, or relaxing activities.
There is something for everyone in the vicinity.
In winter, various snowshoe trails pass near the house.
A cross-country ski trail can also be used day and night.
The farmhouse is located slightly outside Schwellbrunn on a private road.
Direct access to the house is possible and parking spaces are available directly next to the apartment.
The steep road, reinforced with Ecoraster, is not necessarily recommended for cars with a long wheelbase or lowered cars.
The nearest bus stop is about a 30-minute walk away.
By car, you can reach Herisau in 10 minutes and the city of St.
Gallen or Appenzell in 20 minutes. Other sports and leisure activities: Hiking, Biking, Snowshoeing, Sledding Excursion destinations: Alpstein, City of St.Gallen, Appenzell, Kronberg toboggan run, Herisau Sports Centre Other kitchen equipment (Kitchen1): Various pots and pans, salad spinner, cooking utensils, bowls, baking dishes, compost bin, etc.
