In the heart of Tuscany, a garden apartment, at one end of a traditional Tuscan country house, nestling in the stunning Chianti landscape.
Set in extensive, well-kept grounds, with a shared swimming pool, this sensitively converted home is the perfect holiday retreat.
The whole property has been divided into 8 parts, each with a private terrace area. This unusual conversion, which sleeps 4 people, is full of light, with large windows and glass doors leading directly out on to a private terrace and garden.
There are terracotta tiled floors throughout and the ceilings are made from traditional wooden beams with terracotta tiles. The spacious living area has a sofa and flat screen TV. The attractive kitchen is at the far end of the room, next to the wooden dining table.
It is tastefully decorated with painted wooden cabinets and is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and drip coffee machine. Outside, the private terrace has another dining table, chairs and a parasol for shade. The large, shared swimming pool has multiple sun-loungers and parasols where guests can relax.
The pool has a special hydrotherapy seating area to ease away any tension.
There is also a charming, green pergola with tables and seats, which all guests can enjoy. Sleeping Bedroom 1: A charming airy bedroom, traditionally furnished with a wrought iron double bed, which is actually two joined single beds, and chest of drawers, with views out over the gardens. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed. Bathroom This modern tiled bathroom, on the ground floor, has a shower, basin, bidet and WC. Just a 40 minute drive from the hilltop town of San Gimignano, 1 hour and 5 minutes from the center of Florence and 1 hour from Siena, guests will be spoiled for choice as to where to visit during their stay. There are many local restaurants offering delicious local cuisine and food shopping is easy, with Castelfiorentino a 12 minute drive away.
Castelfiorentino’s Saturday market will inspire guests to cook with the best local ingredients, sold directly from the farms.
The market is divided into two sections: Home wares and clothing, then food where you can buy everything from meat and cheese to the freshest fruit and vegetables. For a fashionable shopping experience, The Mall Firenze in Leccio (1 hour and 10 minutes drive) offers a tempting range of designer outlet stores. Here you will find Fendi, Etro, Gucci and many more labels at reduced prices.
More active guests will find tennis courts in Castelfiorentino (12 minutes) and a golf course at FootGolf, San Miniato (20 minutes). Florence’s international airport is just a 40 minute drive from the property and Pisa airport only 45 minutes away by car. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt, sehr gut für Familien geeignet. Man kann herrlich am Pool entspannen oder Ausflüge unternehmen. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Pisa, Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano oder auch ans Meer.
Toll ist auch der Garten, in dem man Kräuter und auch Gemüse ernten darf.

Der Buchungsprozess war einfach. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben, und auf den Fotos. Eine tolle Ausgangslage, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Sehr gepflegtes Anwesen. Francesco war immer ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit, kleinere Reparaturen wurden sofort erledigt, persönliches Tipps haben das Erlebnis abgerundet.

Wir wurden telefonisch schon vorab informiert das unser Ferienwohnung fertig zum Beziehen ist, entspannt und sehr unkompliziert.
Die Anlage hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen, sehr ruhig und entspannte Lage. Gut eingerichtet Küche, mit allem was man zum Kochen braucht.
