Expansive windows bring the forest’s green in to complete the space. A TV with cable, a DVD player, and VCR are tucked away for your enjoyment. It’s fun to gather your group to watch a favorite movie while you munch on popcorn. You also have free Internet within Riverside House so you can stay in touch with friends back home.

Of course, you can also head to downtown Ruidoso for a tasty meal, galleries, and on certain nights, live entertainment.

When you’re back from skiing, hiking, golfing, or checking out nearby scenic attractions, you’ll soon sense the need for a good night’s sleep. Your primary bedroom is the ideal retreat, a true private sanctuary. In addition to a king-sized bed, you have nightstands with reading lamps, a sitting area, and a TV on the dresser that’s perfectly placed for late-night viewing. Before you slip off to dreamland, take a moment to step out on the deck through your private doorway and listen to the sounds of night in the forest. What a peaceful way to end your day.

Riverside House has two bathrooms, which is a convenience you and your guests will appreciate. A second bathroom cuts down on the wait for a turn in the shower. Before you know it, you’ll all be out on the deck enjoying a hot cup of coffee.

The second bathroom also houses the Riverside House washer and dryer. No matter how dirty your gang gets out on the ski slopes or hiking, you’ll be able to keep them in clean clothes.

The two guest rooms each include a queen-sized bed and a private TV. Your guests will love the rustic Southwestern décor in these rooms and throughout Riverside House. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and the entire house is air-conditioned for comfort in summer.
