Overall the holiday was very good and the accomadation was excellent . It was a shame that the local pub burnt down four years ago and has not yet been rebuilt. We did not realise that Taynuilt was eleven miles from Oban,but this wasn't too much of a problem.

Unfortunately our arrival coincided with the storm and amber weather warnings Sat and Sun 7-8th October, but the cottage was cosy enough to sit in all day on the Saturday. Ideally positioned for visiting the west coast, our visit to the Isle of Mull a definite highlight. The cottage is well-equipped and clean (and above all watertight!).
