Kitchen area: Gas Cooker, Fridge First Floor: Bedroom 1: Bunk (3ft) Beds (Children Only) Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet Second Floor: Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included..
On road parking (scratch cards provided).

Friendship Cottage is a delightful mid-terraced holiday cottage, positioned right in the heart of the bustling town of Whitby.
The property is a former fisherman’s cottage with plenty of character and charm, and has stylish décor and furnishings throughout.
It provides the perfect base for couples looking to explore this beautiful coastline or just relaxing and enjoying the many things Whitby has to offer.
The town centre is literally 20 yards from the property where you can find a large selection of pubs, quaint antique and gift shops, and also where you can buy the famous Whitby Jet jewellery and find 3 miles of golden sandy beach.
There are also some excellent award-winning restaurants where you sample many mouth-watering seafood dishes that Whitby is famous for.
There are many music festival weekends including the sixties weekend, soul weekend and Goth weekends, which attract many visitors all year round.
The area is a haven for keen ramblers and cyclists with many tracks and pathways close by, including the famous 110-mile Cleveland Way that can be picked up on the cliff top.
Whitby is surrounded by spectacular scenery of the North York Moors, which you can enjoy by taking either the Esk Valley train that takes you to Middlesbrough, stopping at the pretty villages dotted along the North Yorkshire National Park areas, or the excellent North York Moor steam train, that will take you from Whitby to the lovely market town of Pickering, stopping off at Goathland, otherwise known as ‘Heartbeat Country’.
The lovely coastal resorts of Sandsend, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay are all within close proximity and are well worth a visit.

Compact character cottage with plenty of charm and nicely furnished. V Close to Whitby centre and parking up on East Terrace 5 mins away with a permit. Fine for a family with 2 small children, ideal base to explore from. Cookies and milk on arrival a nice touch.

Our weekend break was great. Would’ve been nice to have the parking scratch cards as mentioned in the brochure so we didn’t have to pay for parking but apart from that was great.

A great little cottage in the heart of Whitby. We parked the car in the W zone with scratch cards provided but not always easy to find a space. If you're not very mobile then this could be a problem.
The Little Angel pub a minute walk away is a bit of a rowdy pub that will only take card payments ...
