Regular visitors to Keswick will know properties in the centre of town rarely have the luxury of private parking or a garden, Beny-Cot has the benefit of both.
This attractive cottage is built in a traditional style from Lakeland stone and is situated 100 yards from both Keswick town centre and the Cumbrian Cottages regional office.
The interior is furnished in a modern style with quality furnishings, has Wi-Fi and a kitchen with all the desired appliances and is enhanced with traditional features such as a woodburning stove in the lounge and a bedroom with a stripped pine floor.
The benefit of four bedrooms (one kingsize, one double, one single and one versatile attic room) for five guests, provides added flexibility of sleeping arrangements and kids will love the attic bedroom with futons, a TV and Playstation 2.
Keswick is the perfect holiday destination for families, couples, the fit and the ‘not so fit’! Situated on the shores of Derwentwater, the fells are accessible from the doorstep and the town centre has excellent amenities.
Other outdoor activities available locally include mountain biking in Whinlatter Forest, kayaking and sailing on the lakes, rock climbing and ghyll scrambling to name but a few.
The ‘not so fit’ may prefer gentle strolls around the town’s parks and shops, partaking in the café culture on Keswick’s pedestrianised market place or a trip on the launch around Derwentwater.
Across the road in Fitz Park is an excellent children’s play park, the Keswick Museum with café, a bowling green and the Keswick Leisure Pool is adjacent.
Shop 30 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
This property caters for a maximum of 5 people.

Brilliant cottage, really spacious, fantastic location so close to town but quiet with own little garden and great off street parking. Secure bike storage was an added bonus! Lovely clean, well equipped cottage - a real home from home in the beautiful Lake District.
Keswick was a brilliant base - whatever the weather there’s lots to do, we’ll definitely be back.
