Lovely cottage, well equipped, when the owners realised we had a two year old with us, they provided stair gates which was great. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cake were also provided as a welcome when we arrived, this was much appreciated after a long drive. We had a great holiday made all the more memorable by the cows in the neighbouring field being fed each evening!

The Cottage was perfect for our family needs. Spacious kitchen with all the appliances, generous sized bathroom, living space and bedrooms. The owners ensured it was nicely decorated for Christmas and we received a warm welcome with homemade Christmas themed fairy cakes and a bottle of fizz. The log fire gave the living room a homely touch and the games room provided extra space and entertainment.

Fabulous cottage very warm and welcoming. Beautiful homemade cupcakes on arrival and log burner lit. Beds were comfy, kitchen was well equipped. Pool table was an added bonus as we had a family tournament with 60's music playing on the TV in the room. Fabulous location for Alton Towers and the Peaks...
