Boasting far-reaching views to the Cheviot Hills and lovely walking from the doorstep, this cosy and comfortable cottage (shown right of photograph) is set just 5 miles from sandy beaches at the village of Eyemouth, where visitors can feed wild grey seals.
Enjoying its own garden, the cottage sits on the owners’ 200 acre arable farm, an idyllic spot threaded with many footpaths.
Boat trips are easily available and the nearby coastline is famed for crystal clear waters, shipwrecks and diverse marine life – a paradise for divers.
Picturesque St Abbs, with its harbour and nature reserve, the golden sands of Coldingham Bay and historic Berwick-upon-Tweed are under 10 miles.
Please be aware that the Wi-Fi can be intermittent due to the rural location.
The beautiful city of Edinburgh is an hour’s drive or take the train from Berwick train station, which is less than a 10-minute drive, giving guests easy access to central Edinburgh.
Visit the village of Ayton’s imposing castle, 3 miles.
Shop and pub 3 miles. Free WiFi 28.05.13 - Please note there will be renovation work for 6-8 weeks at the cottage next door.
There will be scaffolding outside, but the cottage cannot be seen.
The work is from 8am unrtil 4.30/5pm and the owner has asked that any noisey work done is after 9am.
For any inconvenience caused, the owner is leaving some wine. The property is located on a working farm. Children must be supervised on site due to possible safety hazards. There is limited internet signal and/or mobile reception at the property. There are low ceilings, doors and/or beams within the property. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times. Everything you'd want in a holiday cottage, clean, cosy. Great view and pleasant neighbours. Info pack needs updating however, and perhaps a dvd player and some books for wet days?

A lovely quiet cottage on the farm with amazing views. Information pack was a little out of date and the cottage was very warm. We would stay again though
