The delightful port town of Bideford has a good selection of town amenities, restaurants a weekly market and boat trips to Lundy Island.
Garden lovers will enjoy nearby RHS Rosemoor and Docton Mill.
After a long day exploring this glorious location you can have a break from the cooking and enjoy a meal at the popular thatched village inn just a short stroll away.

Mervyn n Sue enjoyed the peace and quite and the spaciousness of this lovely bungalow. We would definitely return to The Stable next year. The owner Mrs Laing was so welcoming and had left a homemade cake and bottle of wine plus fresh flowers for us on arrival. A lovely touch. The only thing that we missed was a coat hanger in the entrance as very wet and windy weather so coats were quite wet.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Stable. The accommodation is within a peaceful village just outside of Bideford which has all the amenities and a lovely park - Victoria Park. Some people have commented that the roads are narrow, but I coped fine with my SUV and the roads are as you’d expect in ...
