As such, they enjoy breath-taking views of the surrounding open countryside.
Walk direct from the door over the nearby moors or take a 5-minute stroll into the nearby traditional market town of Hawes.
Here you will find a good mix of shops with something for everyone including antiques, traditional country clothing, fashion and gift shops interspersed with tea shops, restaurants and pubs.
Alternatively visit the Wensleydale Creamery, famous for its cheese endorsed by Wallace and Gromit or visit the Dales Centre Museum.
Nearby Semerwater, a large, natural lake provides a wealth of activities such as swimming, fishing (licence required) and sailing.

We had a great family holiday at The Farmhouse, it’s a brilliant base for touring the area and only 10 minute walk into fabulous Hawes the only things that need attention are a ironing board and iron and silly things like salt& pepper pots other than that no complaints and would definitely stay there again

We loved staying at the farmhouse in April. Property was perfect, had everything you could need and very clean and up to date. Location was walking distance to a small town with the best fish and chip shop. Would definitely recommend staying here.
