Lunch in York while visiting York Minster and take an evening ghost walk after a meal in one of the many restaurants.

November isn't exactly the month for a holiday but Leedale Cottage was just what I needed. Peace, quiet, rest and relaxation, a time to de-stress. Plenty of walks and, if, interested, places to explore in the surrounding area.I would certainly choose Leedale Cottage again as it was convenient for visiting family and friends.

The cottage and surroundings are beautiful! All the beds were very comfy and the whole place was very clean. The host was really friendly. The only thing we struggled with was there were very limited baking trays/dishes and only one cereal bowl.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage, the only criticism was the lack of one or two kitchen utensels and the lack of instructions on how to use the electric cooker.
Apart from these minor gripes, we were very comfartable and enjoed our visit.
