Grange End Stables is a perfect getaway for couples looking to enjoy some of Lakeland’s finest scenery close by.. 3 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor: Living/dining room: Freeview TV, Electric Woodburner Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine First Floor: Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.

The River Rothay meanders nearby and you are surrounded by stunning scenery – where better to be placed? The cottage adjoins another similar property, and enjoys the benefit of your own parking space.
Leave the car behind and head off with plentiful walks and fells right on the doorstep, yet just a few moments away is the popular village of Grasmere with everything from tea shops to fine dining, and of course the famous ‘Grasmere Ginger Bread’.
If you prefer to stay in, the secluded courtyard seating area is an ideal place to sit and enjoy the warmer evenings.
Why not visit some of the many places that inspired Beatrix Potter, or for a more relaxing day out, take a trip on the nearby Windermere cruises, just remember to bring your camera.

Great location to the village of Grasmere, 5 mins walk to centre. Plenty of walks can be done from the cottage. As fares were capped on buses at time of visit, we used these to get to/from Keswick/Ambleside. Cottage is comfy and nice to have off street parking.

Ideal property for the Grasmere area. It is situated on the outskirts of the village away from the hussle and bussle of a tourist location. This was the second time we have stayed at Grange End Stables, we have booked the property again for stays in April and September 2024.

Great holiday cottage the treats went down well. A nice cottage for two not sure how four adults would feel but very cosy Lots of hot water and nice and warm which is what we needed after long days walking, would definitely go back
