There is also a conservatory and large boot room, and outside it has its own parking and a large garden with sitting-out areas. The village is found at the outfall of Ullswater Lake, in the Lake District National Park, and the area offers some of the most wonderful landscapes in the region from the privacy of a secluded rural setting.
It is just a short walk from Ullswater Lake, with its walking, watersports and ponderous steamers.
This area offers many forms of recreation, whatever season you choose to visit.

Excellent location - end of cul de sac, Finkle Street and in the centre of Pooley Bridge. Own parking space and large garden, stayed here for the second time - both good experiences. Decent eateries literally on the doorstep.Good location for touring if choose to use vehicle

Our stay at Finkle cottage was lovely. What you need to be aware of is this cottage was built in the 1700s and therefore has a few problems. We loved the quirkiness and charm and would have no hesitation in going back. The proximity to the village is great, and with 3 pubs on your doorstep what more...

Good variety of birds to watch from the nice conservatory (if one feeds them).
Enough space for 6.
The cottage was warm.
