The Old Dairy, as the name suggests, is a former detached barn which has been tastefully converted and restored into quality luxury accommodation sleeping four people.

With a stunning open plan living/dining/kitchen area, the stylish kitchen and high quality decor give a sense of quality and luxury, combined with the rustic charm of exposed wooden beams, cosy wood burner and beautiful countryside views.
The fully fitted kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need for your stay including a dishwasher and a separate utility room has a washer/dryer.
The dining area has bi-folding doors which open up to make the most of the countryside views, wild flower meadow and give access to the peaceful enclosed garden.
The living area has leather sofas, a cosy wood burner and Smart TV with Netflix package for your entertainment.
The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom, the second bedroom is a zip and link super kingsize and can be a twin on request.
There is a superb family bathroom with freestanding slipper bath and separate walk-in shower.

Nearby Pickering is a characterful town with a fine selection of independent shops, art galleries and antique shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants.
From here you can take a ride on the famous steam train to Grosmont, Goathland (Aidensfield in the classic TV series Heartbeat) and the seaside town of Whitby, where you can climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey.
Those looking for a quieter pace of life may prefer to walk the many footpaths and bridleways over the North Yorks Moor.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation had everything you could possibly need for a great stay. Our dog had a great time too. There was a fully enclosed years for him to run around in and a larger connecting field which he could use while supervised. Loved the special touches like homemade cakes and fresh apple juice on arrival.

We have stayed at the old dairy several times now and are always thoroughly happy with our holiday. The cottage is immaculately clean and cosy with helpful and pleasant hosts. Lots of nearby attractions and places to eat. We always leave really relaxed and looking forward to returning.
