Monmouth, with its castle, wide high street and good range of shops, and Chepstow Castle, are well worth a visit.
There are also walks, golf and mountain biking opportunities available nearby.

Excellent lodge every thing you could need for a great holiday lots of doggy extras too ! Super king size bed great , so clean and a lovely cake to welcome you . Will definitely recommend it !

Property was clean and well equipped. The sofa was old and had sunken and was extremely uncomfortable. Shower curtain smelt damp and rapped around legs during shower, which was not very nice.

The super king bed was very comfortable and we loved the homemade lemon cake and the local eggs that were on the table for us when we arrived. One minor quibble is that there was no shaver socket or light above the bathroom mirror, so we couldn’t charge our electric toothbrush there.
