The local area is steeped in history with so many things to explore! Be sure to visit one of the forts.
Further afield guests can explore the historic town of Colchester; the oldest recorded town in Britain.
Take a step back in time and visit the historic villages in Essex and Constable Country in nearby Suffolk.
For a trip to the capital, London is around 1 hour 20 minutes away by train for a day exploring and enjoying the many attractions London has on offer.

Its a really quirky place with great views. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of games and books etc. Easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and Harwich old town, with the beach right on the doorstep.
The only change I'd ask for is that most of the cupboards and drawers in the bedrooms were full so there wasn't much space for our clothes and belongings.
