Hot tubs can be hired by guests. Sandsend is very popular with fisherman, surfers, walkers as well as golfers who visit the golf club perched up on the cliff top opposite Toll Bar Cottage.

The North York Moors Railway runs from Whitby to Pickering and stops at some beautiful villages whilst journeying through the vast expanse of the scenic moorland.

For family days out there’s lots to do nearby, from Scarborough’s waterpark, Sea Life centre, open air theatre or Oriental gardens with paddle boats.

Flamingoland theme park and zoo, Dalby Forest with tree top zip wire trails, or even a traditional day out at the beach perhaps including a donkey ride.
