Stronvaar may look ordinary from the outside, but inside it is rather special. It has been beautifully modernised and equipped, and it is surprisingly spacious. And, most importantly, it is spotlessly clean. Lots of places to visit in the area. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights and wow what a beautiful home Stronvaar is. It didn't feel like a holiday let. Finished to a very high standard. Stranraer is an ideal location to explore the surrounding area, such as Portpatrick (highly recommended) Sand Head and Castle Kennedy. We really appreciated the welcome gifts of sparkling wine and chocolates, a lovely touch.

A super little holiday cottage in Stranrear which is handy for exploring the area. Immaculately clean with helpful extras provided like towels and milk. Fresh flowers and chocolates were an added bonus. Cottage was warm and comfortable with a lovely garden and sun room and the kitchen had more than everything we needed. Plenty of parking and LIDL is just next door.
