We were very pleased with the property and location. I was disappointed with the rude nosey neighbour and lack of welcome pack. Also the kitchen was short of cupboard essentials. Tin foil, cling film, small whisk and food bags. The wok was old and unusable and the frying pan was cheap.

We had a great family holiday at the Beeches. The location is perfect for getting into Keswick (20/25 min) and Cockermouth (15 min) but also good for nearby fell walks . The house is very nice, as is the garden. The only thing that wasn't good is our pup escaped through the trellis fence and got onto the road, so please bare this in mind .

Absolutely fantastic holiday. The house was clean, warm and well equipped for 6 adults, a toddler and a dog. Welcome pack was very useful and everything was in working order. Great local pubs and attractions. Close to Keswick and Cockermouth with a good selection of local shops. Would definately stay here again.
