For those that wish to explore picturesque Kent further, the coast can be reached within a 20-minute drive, with the pretty coastal town of Hythe and Dymchurch with its beautiful stretch of sandy beach nearby.
For a trip further afield, Ashford International train station is just 15 minutes’ drive away and will take you to London in under 40 minutes, or why not go to France for the day on one of the many daily ferry services from Dover? Beach 9 miles.

Jemmett Lodge was in the perfect position to explore Kent.
It was quiet and relaxing perfect for a couple to get away.
The lodge was well equipped and the owners were very helpful; even leaving a few gifts of essential food items.
We had a really enjoyable stay.

A beautiful lodge, in an idea setting. Extremely clean, and very well stocked with everything you need, a welcome pack was a lovely thought. Within easy reach of all the places we wanted to visit on our first trip to Kent. We would certainly return to this lovely place if we were to visit Kent again.

We were very impressed with Jemmett Lodge. We got a superb welcome pack with coffee, tea, biscuits and even mince pies ! The owners were very friendly and helpful and it was an ideal place to stay for a couple, with great facilities. We would definitely recommend it!
