Exactly what we needed middle of nowhere quiet for our dog over bonfire night. The owners are nice and welcoming. We took our own food with us think nearest is 20 minutes away. Lots of lovely views of mountains sheep no mobile signal which we was glad of you can get wifi. Thank you for the quiet Cottage and our dog was calm all weekend.

A lovely break. Cosy, comfortable cottage. Very clean. Stunning scenery. Brilliant hosts. They've thought of everything. Nothing too much trouble. A little isolated for our tastes, but if you want a "get away from it all" break, then this is the place. No mobile signal but free wifi with good coverage.

I've lowered my rating compared to previous stays on finding that the Wi-Fi has been removed.
There's no phone signal in Halton gill, so having Wi-Fi can be pretty important and this property had it for the last decade, but not this year.
Otherwise it's lovely, although becoming very expensive imo.
