Glenmore Cottage is a traditional stone built terraced Lakeland cottage built over 100 years ago, ideally situated close to the centre of Ambleside within a short level walk of all the varied facilities the town has to offer and yet retaining a peaceful location for a relaxing holiday.

Really good location (2 minute walk from all local amenities: pubs, restaurants, tesco/ coop and some lovely walks) and it was great having the darts, table tennis and pool table in the basement.. got the kids off their phones for at least a little while!

Good little cottage in a beautiful location, comfy and clean, very welcoming parking facility, Being situated in the center of a very busy little village it is easy to find all you need around it. The cottage is still in a very calm area. Good place where to stay when visiting the Lake District

Most things excellent, warm, clean, well equipped, good shower, good lighting. Only one thing that was negative. Surprised we could not use the open fire in the main room. But we worked around it. Log burner great.
