Acorn lodge was amazing was clean on arrival it’s comfy a home away from home also having parking is great plus. It’s a 2 min walk from town and about a 15/20 min walk threw town to derwent lake. The beds are comfy and it’s extremely quiet in the house as well (no sound really comes threw the windows). We can’t wait to hopefully come back soon.

An excellent location. The house was roomy and warm. Showers/ bath lovely. Handy parking space. A welcome boot and drying room.The stairs are quite steep if you have mobility problems.A better range of glassware is needed as is a new cafetière.

Absolutely great location, although parking problem if more than one car. A couple of niggles - some bulbs were not working in lamps/sconces etc. Both doors (particularly front door) were incredibly stiff and difficult to unlock. Also, a shame not all the windows could open. All in all, had a fabulous & comfortable holiday and enjoyed being part of the beautiful Keswick town!
