A really peaceful location with great views outside. The Lodge was very comfortable and cosy and we were warmly welcomed. The drive to the lodge is through some narrow country lanes but that is overcome by the wonderful location. With plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, it makes a great base for touring around Shropshire and Mid-Wales.

Spacious rooms with fantastic views. Waking up to the sound of sheep bleating and lambs running around makes you forget life problems, the only drawback we found was the road leading to and from the lodge was a dirt track , and my car kept hitting protruding stones , everything else was wonderful.

The cabin is warm and comfortable and well equipped without going over the top, like some properties we have stayed in. It is very quiet and tucked away in the countryside, which suited us fine. The owner was very friendly, it was nice to be shown the lambing shed and hear about the farm. Overall a good place for a break, with great walking nearby.
