The Cowshed is a thatched, single-storey, detached barn conversion located in the rural Norfolk countryside.
It lies just outside the village of Blofield, which is an ideal location for exploring the Norfolk Broads.
Wroxham, the ’capital of the Broads’, is just 4 miles away.
There are riverside cafes and inns, lots of boating activity and daily boat hire is available, enabling you to explore the Broads and see all the pretty villages and wildlife.
There are a number of places to visit including Strumpshaw Fen RSPB Reserve, a delight for walkers and nature lovers, Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, a number of National Trust properties and 3 heritage railways - North Norfolk Railway, Mid-Norfolk Railway and the Bure Valley Railway.
Alternatively, spend a day in the fine city of Norwich, with its cathedrals, castle, museums, theatres and fine array of cafes and shops.
Walking, birdwatching and cycling are available locally.
Coarse fishing is available just ½ mile from the property (in season, licence required).
Beach 15 miles.
Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable accomodation. It was rural and quiet and a good base to explore the area. Good eating places nearby. We had an enjoyable time.

Absolutely lovely space, so relaxing and well appointed. Thoroughly enjoyed our 14 days there. Close to Bewilderwood which the children enjoyed immensely!

Hand towels would have been good and a curtain or blind at the back door which was next to the bathroom and bedroom. Apart from that a lovely holiday
