Set on the owner’s farm, these beautifully renovated, semi-detached barns are ideal for holidaymakers that want to explore the area, as well as for more leisurely breaks with your feet up and the TV on. Surrounded by open countryside yet only a short drive to the A1, the properties are situated in a peaceful location, but still have easy access to nearby attractions such as Newark, which is famous for its International Antiques Fairs and showground.
Lincoln is home to the New Magna Carta Centre as well as a stunning cathedral and castle, just 17 miles away, which is around a 30-minute drive.
Fishing is available in the nearby River Trent and one of the local fishing lakes.
Good walks and cycle routes (bike storage available) pass by the front door, and with the local pub just 1 mile, you can enjoy a pleasant meal and a drink in the evenings, before strolling back home.

Mrs Walker made us very welcome. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. The whole family was very comfortable there. We didn't explore the area around because of the weather. Also the nearest pub was closed for food for those few days because of its proximity to Christmas but we found another one a few miles which was excellent. We would certainly use the cottage again.

We spent new year here was lovey surroundings, great for walks. Getting the kids outside instead off been stuck on there phones and xbox all time. Fantastic farm and owners. Would definitely visit again
