Discover this delightful stone built traditional Welsh cottage located on the owner’s working farm in the rural hamlet of Hayscastle.
Dating back to the 16th century, this lovely property is 1 of 3 character cottages and in the perfect location to explore West Wales.
On a summer’s day you can try a spot of fishing - you can try your hand at fly fishing on the owner’s 2½-acre trout lake (£20 for 2 fish), just a 5-minute stroll away, and then cook your prized catch on the barbecue.
The Old Coach House has a large enclosed garden that offers you and your family the perfect space to enjoy the weather and relax into the evening with a glass of wine or watch the kids make use of the football net.
Internally, the cottage is well appointed and thoughtfully furnished to a good standard and is full of charm.
The master bedroom opens out onto a spacious, private verandah with furniture, offering uninterrupted countryside views, with St Bridges Bay in the distance.
It is perfect for a relaxing evening enjoying the sun set.
Newgale is just a 10-minute drive east from Hayscastle and offers a superb vista out over the St Bride’s Bay and is ideal for long walks, building sandcastles, surfing, kayaking or just relaxing with the waves crashing at your feet.
Travel south along the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park route and meander around the picturesque coves and headlands.
Pass through the peaceful hamlet of Nolton Haven, situated around the beautiful beach.
Continuing along this route towards Broad Haven, you will stumble across the Druidston Hotel which is perched above Druidston Beach and offers lunch with unobstructed views out over the glistening blue sea.
Enjoy a trip to the famous city of St David’s, Britain’s smallest city, at the most westerly point of Wales and the final resting place of the Patron Saint of Wales, Saint David.
Adjacent to the cathedral stands the 13th-century Bishop’s Palace, a truly magnificent sight.
Further along this north coast you will uncover the fishing village of Porthgain and the delightful restaurant ’The Shed’ which specialises in local freshly caught sea fish, and overlooks the harbour.
Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family, and located only 30 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions! Shop and restaurant 4 miles, pub 1 mile.

Lovely cottage well equipped and really liked the balcony and outside garden. This Cottage has many amenities and is really well kept and met all our requirements.Only small downsides (which did not affect us) are its position and you need to travel several miles to the lovely coast or eat out and some may find the stairs a problem.

Had a lovely time. Accommodation was excellent and in a quiet country side setting. Had to go by car to the nearest pub and beach but didn’t bother us, we knew this before we booked. Accommodation had everything we need home from home and Netflix. St David’s and other Coastal areas close by. Book this accommodation you won’t be disappointed

Our third stay at the Coach house… it’s lovely. A hidden gem in the middle of Pembrokeshire, with easy access to beaches, walks, shops and great pubs! Dog friendly, the Coach house is just perfect for a get away! Thank you… me and the fur family will be back!
