An ideal quietly located cottage overlooking Rievaulx Abbey to the rear with peaceful countryside to the front. We arrived very late to find the lights left on for us with a warm property . The cottage was well equipped and met our needs perfectly. Breakfast was a treat by the Aga watching the birds...

A most enjoyable two week stay, and good location. Most comfortable, well equipped and clean. Given the garden and location (and superb weather we enjoyed) a simple barbeque would have been an added benefit, although we coped well enough with a disposable one.
