Inside are many original features including beams, roof trusses, exposed stone and brick walls, and a flagstone floor, as well as a wood burner, and modern features such as Wi-Fi and Smart TV.
The owners live on site and personally host guests, providing a warm welcome and on-hand assistance throughout the stay, together with a complimentary breakfast basket (on request), coffee, teas, cooking essentials, complementary shampoo, toiletries and a hairdryer.
Outside is a 1-acre private garden with 300-year old cedar tree.
The village green is located a 2-minute walk along a footpath.

The owner provides details of the many footpaths and suggested walks in a welcome pack for guests.
Next to the village green is the recreation ground with pavilion and outside café.
This is the location for cricket, football and stoolball matches, and is a launch site for hot-air balloon flights (including in winter).
There are three well-maintained tennis courts, as well as outdoor zumba/fitness classes.

There are other award-winning local pubs within a short drive.
Within a 15-20 minute drive is Petworth with its antique shops, stately home, art collection (Gainsborough, Holbein, Titian, Blake), Capability Brown gardens, boating lake and open-air concerts, and Midhurst, renowned for polo at Cowdray Park.

Had a great week celebrating my 70th birthday. Helen was very friendly and helpful. The barn was well equipped the welcoming fruit bowl was amazing. Plenty of parking which is secure with automatic gated driveway. The local pub is just a short walk away it’s a great village pub friendly with good food. A games room was well equipped and which the grandchildren really enjoyed.
