The cottage was exactly as described. There are beautiful views over the Thirlmere lake and towards the Helvellyn range. It is in a great position for exploring this beautiful area of the Lake District from the doorstep. It was clean and well-equipped. The manager and caretaker were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and definitely go again.

Lovely cosy apartment in a beautiful peaceful location, gorgeous views and walks from the door.There’s no phone reception or data signal so perfect if you want to get away from it all (Wi-Fi was free and worked well) The property description and photos need to be updated on the website to reflect that the bathroom has been updated and there isn’t a bath!

Overall the accommodation was comfortable but dated. The bedroom furniture was up to date but contrasted greatly with the very dated soft furnishings. The bedroom now has a lovely ensuite with rainhead shower.
