one of the best i have been too. what amazed me was you drive through an estate go down a lane and its so peaceful. the dog loved the walks around the play field and down the lane towards the river every day.
the welcome back was great and loved the hot tub would definitely go back again. i suppose the only down side was no where local for a drink

Well equipped cottage, very clean and comfortable. Perfect position for exploring Durham and surrounding towns and countryside. Excellent meal in Thomas Wright House which is just a short stumble away.

Absolutely loved this cottage. Pretty much perfect for what we were looking for.
Reason I lowered the scores on Location was because even though you could go for walks in the local area, it did take a while to drive anywhere to find waterfalls etc. Also local amenities, we didn't need to use anything but there was a restaurant and local pub not far away which I'm sure would have been lovely.
