Alnwick Castle and Gardens, which became Harry Potter’s Hogwarts in the epic tales, is just 13 miles.

This is an excellent cottage, clean, tidy and practical with parking. Although close to a pub there was no noise or disturbance. The beautiful sandy beach is no more than a 10 minute flat walk away which is a section of the coastal path so you can walk on to other villages beyond. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything you need for a good holiday. The owner was very helpful, responsive and accommodating. We hope to return next year.
