Spacious flat in a well-known historical Bolognese palazzo, "Casa Berò", a great example of Renaissance Bolognese architecture and former atelier of the Carracci painters.
Through an internal cloister you reach the flat located on the ground floor, inside this well-known historical Bolognese palazzo known as "dei Carracci" because it is said to have been the home and studio of the well-known painters Annibale, Agostino and Ludovico Carracci.
The entrance opens onto a hallway with a table and chairs, with access to a well-equipped separate kitchen, also equipped with a dishwasher and kettle. In a separate room is a spacious dining room with a large table and TV, furnished with a panel illustrating the history of Bologna and the etymology of the names of various streets dating back to medieval Bologna.
The sleeping area consists of five bedrooms: three with a double bed and two with a single bed each. These are characterised by different colours and almost all have desks, which, together with free Wi-Fi, allow you to study or work in total comfort. Two bathrooms with all sanitary facilities and shower complete the flat.
*The city centre is a Limited Traffic Zone so we recommend that you leave your car in one of the many car parks and enjoy the historic centre on foot.
*At arrival or a few days before arrival you may be required to pay a tourist tax, the amount of which varies according to local regulations. You will find all the information regarding your booking in the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, please contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauties of Italy.
Bologna, known as the "Dotta" being the seat of the oldest University in the West, the "Grassa" for its excellent food and wine and the "Rossa" the colour that characterises the historic centre, is a wonderful city of art, culture and commerce. Its soul lies in its medieval historical centre, which is among the largest in Europe and full of taverns, shops and theatres, characterised by almost 40 km of arcades. In the historical centre is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of the medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are Giambologna's Neptune Fountain and the Medieval Towers, the Asinelli and the Garisenda, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in the numerous museums, galleries and religious buildings. It is impossible to leave Bologna without tasting its food and wine products, including mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla Bolognese accompanied by the well-known DOC wines of the Colli Bolognesi! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna is a city that can surprise you all year round.
The central train station is a 2 km walk away and the airport is 10 km away by car.
