It also has perfect hiking conditions both summer and winter, and you can go skiing in the mountains.
You can fish in the fjord with fishing rods from land.
There are several fishing lakes in the area, like Jægervatnet, that has salmon, trout and arctic char.
A fishing licence is mandatory for lakes and rivers.

nein da ich etwas gehbehindert bin waren Ausflüge nur eingeschränkt möglich im tiefen Winter

Vi havde en behagelig uge her, selvom vejret var en smule uforudsigeligt, Værterne var meget imødekommende, og huset havde alle de nødvendigheder, Beliggenheden er perfekt for dem, der ønsker at udforske skønheden i Lyngen-området,
