Get together at Atherstone Farmhouse & Cottage, a lovingly renovated 17th century farmhouse and adjoining cottage in the heart of Somerset countryside.
Sleeping 14 in six bedrooms, our grade II listed farmhouse and cottage offer a charming and comfortable bolthole for families and groups of friends. Beautifully refurbished to the highest standard, the property retains its original character with its thatched roof, stone floors, ancient oak beams and a wood-burning stove set into a huge fireplace. Or champion the new wooden hot tub in the garden!
There are two well equipped kitchen/dining rooms, one at either end of the property. Two utility rooms off the kitchen areas house laundry facilities.
Both ends of the farmhouse also have spacious living rooms with a wood-burning stove set into large stone fireplaces, large flatscreen TV and comfy sofas in each. There is a dining table in the open plan living space at the cottage end that can be extended to seat up to 14 so that everyone can dine together.
Atherstone Farmhouse & Cottage has six en suite bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor for easy access. The accommodation is flexible with three of the six spacious bedrooms having zip and link beds to suit your party.
Outside there is a large private garden with an inviting wood fired hot tub complete with lights and an air-bubble system. plus two terraces with outdoor furniture and barbecues for al fresco dining in the summer.
