Villa Avorio is located in Positano, the town well known as the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. Its views are famous the world over. The white houses cling to the hill and overlook the sea toward the beach. The peculiar architecture, made of narrow streets, subways, arcades, flights of steps, the boutiques offering the Positano style and the suggestive beach are the main peculiarities of this important and not to be missed tourist destination. As a pearl of the Amalfi Coast, the town of Positano presents itself as a cluster of pastel houses clinging to the steep ledges of the Lattari Mountains, which reflect themselves in the clear sea below, surrounded by an intense fragrance of lemon and bright and vivid colours of bougainvillea. A maze of alleys and steps with small shops displaying the typical products of local crafts, which, together with the undisputed beauty of the landscape, have contributed to make Positano and the Amalfi Coast famous world-wide. We refer to the fresh linen dresses in style “Positano fashion”, the leather sandals, the colourful ceramics and the Lemoncello.
Villa Avorio is a villa of 800 sqm and it is located in the very heart of Positano: it was built in 1906 by the Marquis Nino Marciano and it is one of the first art galleries in Positano. Inside, there are many paintings and splendid poetries that the marquis and his family used to write For your stay, a car is not a necessity but, if needed, it can be parked in the private garage (on the ground floor, available for 6 small size cars or 4 medium/large size ones) which can be reached from the main street. Then, the property is reachable from the garage, through an elevator or directly from the main street through about 10 small stairs. It is a three-story villa with many terraces, a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi: the pool has a rectangular shape and is 6,20 x 4,00 mt large and from 0,30 to 1,60 meters deep. The interior of the pool consists of dowels with chromatic characteristics, among which the change of the water colour depending on the depth of the pool and of the direction of the solar rays. The Jacuzzi area has six seats with vents engaged for the massage of the lumbar spine and the vertebral column. Besides the whirlpool, the swimming pool has a drop-down water feature and a lighting consisting of six headlights of 50W; the villa terrace, around the swimming pool, is of about 200 square mt and it is equipped with a big table and chairs for 12, benches, sun chairs and umbrellas. Furthermore, it can be reached from each floor of the villa. On the first floor, passing through the hallway, are placed the first two double bedrooms, which are both equipped with air conditioning, heating and also a private balcony equipped with table and chairs. It follows a bathroom, equipped with shower, WC, bidet and sink, and then another one equipped with hydro-massage shower, WC, bidet and sink. On the same floor there is also the first kitchen, accessible from the living room and which is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, electric oven, refrigerator, freezer, a coffee machine, kettle, toaster and other small appliances plus a table and chairs for four; the living room, then, is delightfully furnished, including a sofa and a pool table. From there, there is the access to a private terrace of about 35 square meters covered with transparent glass panels. Always passing through the living room, there is another double bedroom equipped with air conditioning and heating and a twin bedroom (this one accessible from the hallway) equipped with air conditioning and heating, to which follows the third bathroom, equipped with hydro-massage shower, WC, bidet and sink. Another kitchen is then present: it is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer, the coffee machine, the kettle, the toaster and other small appliances and a table and chairs for four; from the kitchen, you will access a private terrace of about 20 square meters. The second living room, as the other one, is tastefully furnished with sofa, table and chairs and it allows the access to a private terrace of about 70 square meters. This Positano pool heated villa is equipped also with a little but fully equipped gym. Next to this one there is another bathroom, equipped with shower, WC, bidet and sink. The second floor is made of two levels: On the first one there are another living room, from which is possible to reach the main terrace with swimming pool, another kitchen (which allows the same access of the living room) equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, electric oven, refrigerator with freezer, the coffee machine, the kettle, the toaster and other small appliances and a table and chairs for four and another bathroom equipped with shower, WC, bidet and sink. On the other level, accessible by stairs only) are placed the last two double bedrooms which shares a terrace, both equipped with air condition and heating. Then, in the end, there are the 2 bathrooms, accessible from the hallway, which are both equipped with shower, WC, bidet and sink.
