Semi-detached house (if you are in front, left part, with glass door) of an old Ticino stone house in an exclusive location near Locarno, quiet and well developed.
Here you will find old Ticinese charm that is so hard to find in the area, yet still able to relax in a well-kept and relaxed atmosphere.
Since the house is on the hillside, you should not shy away from stairs.
All rooms are south-facing with views of Lake Maggiore and the mountains opposite.
The nearly four hundred year old house is renovated, furnished in style and can be centrally heated by a stove.
The kitchen leads directly onto the south-facing terrace with views as far as Cannobio.
The bedrooms and bathroom are accessible from the back of the house.
The bathroom is equipped with high quality and electrically heated.
In each bedroom there is a double bed (200 x 180 cm) with two mattresses (200 x 90 cm each, two blankets each with a standard size of 200 x 135 cm). Above the garage there is another terrace where you can admire the panorama in the evening for a long time in the sunshine.
The spacious garden is maintained regularly, so that you are surrounded from March by colorful flowers.
Behind the house you can retire on a large lawn. In just a few minutes you are in the center of Brione with nice restaurants.
It takes about 10 minutes by car or 30 minutes to walk to Locarno.
The nearest bus stop is about 200 meters from the house.
The picturesque valleys of Ticino can be reached quickly by car. There are countless hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.
In spring you can enjoy the camellia and magnolia bloom at a time when it is still gray and cold in the north.
In summer, a beach holiday at the Lido in Locarno / Ascona or at the many pools of the rivers next to the extensive cultural offer (https://www.ascona-locarno.com/de/). Autumn is often warm for a long summer, so you can ignore the winter and the cold for a while on walks or while bathing.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Blick auf den See genossen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten bequem. Es gibt zwar keine Sofaecke, aber das wird bei gutem Wetter durch die herrlichen Terrassen mehr als wettgemacht.
