This rustic alpine hut is located in the Bucheben district, one of the many side valleys of Rauris.
The hut sits enthroned on a slope on a large mountain meadow that smells of wonderful herbs and flowers in the summer.
Due to its elevated, secluded location, you can enjoy the view over the meadows from the snow-capped Sonnblick to the peaks of the Hochkönig. The holiday hut, which once had an old mill wheel, is a truly historic gem. Ivy and flowering plants climb the wooden shingles.
The wood-burning stove, which is fired for cooking and heating, and an additional stove radiate pleasant warmth and even supply the upper sleeping area with warm air through a hatch. The rooms are largely renovated. The old floorboards, the solid door frames, and historically significant walls and furnishings have been preserved and serve as witnesses of time. The sleeping places in the loft are accessible via a hatch and are a highlight for the children. Romantics will feel particularly comfortable in the cozy lounge with a seating area by the crackling fireplace. Wunderschöne Hütte und alles sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Leider hatten wir ein bisschen Pech mit dem Wetter. Deshalb werden wir bestimmt wiederkommen und auf besseres Wetter hoffen.
