A lovely 3 bedroom air conditioned villa in Caniço de Baixo one of the sunniest places on the island, Villa Amelia is south facing with private swimming pool and the perfect choice for a relaxing, away from it all holiday.
Accessed via a few steps, a covered terrace leads into the lounge which is conveniently open-plan to the dining area and kitchen, making it an ideal place for families to relax together.
Each of the three bedrooms has it's own bathroom and air conditioning.
Outside, flower beds border the pool terrace, and privacy from the neighbours is created by a wall of mature plants.
A built in barbecue is available on the pool terrace for you to enjoy. Unusually for villas in Madeira, complimentary transfers from and to the airport are offered. Access to complementary use of all facilities at the Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club, seven minutes drive away, including access to the sea, sea water pools, fresh water pool and tennis court (www.albatrozhotel.com). Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on. Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival.
For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen. Nearby The resort of Caniço de Baixo offers a very complete set of amenities, including a couple of minimarkets, restaurants, bars, tennis and squash facilities in nearby hotels, a diving club, and the Galo Mar lido.
A small promenade allows you to walk off those excessive meals, breathing the fresh sea air. A 30 minute climb, 3 minute drive or short bus ride brings you to Caniço village itself, where you will find more restaurants and bars, a large supermarket, a small shopping centre and the Medical Centre. Funchal is only a 20 minute drive away.
