Hiking and cycling trails lead past the Dachsteinresort. In winter, skis can be stored either in the building or directly at the valley station of the Hornbahn.

A free ski bus stops directly at the accommodation and takes you to the Dachstein-West ski area (250m from the resort).
The Dachstein-West ski area offers over 160 kilometers of slopes with many places to stop for refreshments. The booking conditions of ÖHVB apply. Plus €2.0 local tax per person per night (from 15 years old). As of May 2025, the local tax will be €3.0. Guarantee conditions: A deposit for your stay is required. Please transfer a deposit of 30% within the next 14 days, or for short-notice bookings, in good time before your arrival to our bank account: Account Holder: Hotel Dachsteinresort GmbH IBAN: AT77 2032 6000 0003 5048 BIC/SWIFT: SPNKAT21XXX Please state the booking number as the reference.
