22 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka village (Western Ruka) 5 km, pond Pikku-Veska 40 m, rowing boat, there is no pier, possibility of swimming on a rather small sandy beach, which deepens quite suddenly after approx. 10 m.
Good-quality 2-storey "kelo"-log cottage built in 1990. Downstairs: Bedroom with a double bed, kitchen, living room, dressing room, bathroom, electric sauna and toilet.
Upstairs (sloping ceilings, steep stairs): Bedroom with a double bed, bedroom with a double bed and single bed, sleeping alcove (low room height, folding doors) with double mattress and balcony.
Additionally 2 mattresses.
Downstairs 135 m² and upstairs 40 m².

Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist optimal, da nahe der Hauptstraße und doch in völliger Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit direkt am See. Die beste Hütte, die wir jemals hatten.
Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war holprig. Erst nach der dritten Kontaktaufnahme hatten wir den Code für die Schlüsselbox bekommen. Im Haus gab es die individuellen Infos, die nur dieses Haus und seine Einrichtung betreffen, ausschließlich in finnischer Sprache, noch dazu handgeschrieben, so dass u...

Das Haus liegt in bester Lage bei absoluter Privatsphäre. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und hat alles was man braucht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wenn es mal zu kalt wird hat man eine Fußbodenheizung plus elektrische Heizkörper in allen Räumen und wenn einem dann immer noch zu kalt ist, ...
Das Haus verfügt nicht über Internet/WLAN. Das ist sehr schade und wird einem in manchen Situationen zum Nachteil. Der Handyempfang ist nicht ausreichend um damit einen Hotspot zu erstellen und Dinge wie z.B. TV gucken oder aufgenommenes Bild oder Videomaterial von der Landschaft zu sichern. Leider wird auch der Samsung Smart TV ein wenig nutzlos wenn man kein verfügbares Internet hat.
