Your future team

A highly international group consisting of 10 developers and product managers representing 8 nationalities. As a Product Manager, you will lead a development team responsible for integrating to 3rd party APIs and make the data available to internal stakeholders. Together with other Product Managers and Technical Account Managers, you will provide the best experience for our colleagues, partners and travellers.

Your role in this journey

  • Manage an engineering team responsible for integrating to multiple APIs as well as distributing the data to internal systems.
  • Interface with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. business development, API partners, customer happiness team) to identify the most critical pain points in existing integrations and best opportunities for new integrations.
  • Conceptualize new solutions, develop them with your engineering team, and deliver them successfully and monitor their impact and stability.
  • Understand technical problems, finding solutions, and efficiently solving them.
  • Effectively translate business strategies into API requirements, specifications, and roadmaps.
  • Organize tasks and manage technical requirements in collaboration with your engineering team.
  • Analyze data to ensure the impact and the results of new integrations or updates are measured in a meaningful way.
  • Prioritize tasks to enable the team to both achieve short and long-term objectives.

Your backpack is filled with

  • A university degree in informatics, computer science, industrial engineering, physics, computer science, or related STEM fields.
  • Strong technical understanding and first experiences with some programming languages.
  • Experience as product/project manager with integration to 3rd party APIs.
  • Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc).
  • Combination of a strong analytical mindset with a love for data and technology.
  • You have strong communication skills to manage complex projects with different stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of software development cycles, preferably in a start-up environment.
